There are loads of spa heaters on the market and if you’re lucky enough to own a spa, you’ll ant to get just the right heater for you, your family and friends to enjoy it. Although there are loads of different styles etc to choose from, here is some basic information that will come in handy when you are shopping or your new spa heater. You can choose from a propane or gas heater or an electric one. 

Find out what you spa requires and then choose a spa heater to suit, you may also want to think about how hot you want to keep your spa, what temperature do you expect to use it at most of the time? Answering these questions first is important as it will give you a better idea of what spa heater you need. Does your spa have a whirlpool action? If o you may need a more powerful action to keep the temperature up due to the constant movement of the water. If you are just looking to heat your tub to a relaxing temperature you won’t need such a powerful heater, check out the wattage and apply it the size of your spa.

Bear in mind that it may actually be more economical to buy a more powerful heater that doesn’t have to work so hard to give you the output you desire.  You have made a great investment in purchasing your spa, now make sure you get the heater you and your spa deserves. If you are expecting to use your spa outside, especially in the cool and colder months of the year, you will need to think about durability and how weather proof it is.
